CNC Press Brake Machine Manufacturer
Hydraulic CNC press brakes for repeatable, programmable bending: mini CNC 25-40 T and production models from 40 T to 250 T.

CNC press brake machines for production bending
A CNC press brake machine uses a computer numerical controller to set the ram depth and the back gauge position for every bend in a programme. Once a part is programmed, the operator loads the sheet and the machine steps through each bend automatically, so the fifth part and the five-hundredth part come out the same. This is why CNC press brakes have become the standard choice for manufacturers bending multi-bend parts in volume.
Devraj Engineering builds hydraulic CNC press brake machines from a compact mini CNC model of 25-40 T up to 250 T, with heavy-duty CNC machines to 400 T on the heavy duty page.

Controller and axes: the CNC controller make, the number of controlled axes (for example Y1/Y2 ram, X and R back gauge) and crowning type are specified per order. Tell us your part mix and we will propose a configuration in the quotation.
How a CNC press brake works
In an electro-hydraulic CNC press brake, each cylinder's position is read by a linear scale and corrected by a proportional or servo valve, so both ends of the ram stay level and stop at the programmed depth. The back gauge is driven by servo motors and ball screws. The controller works out the ram depth needed for the requested angle from the material, thickness and tooling stored in its library.
Programming is done on the controller's screen, either by entering each bend or, on graphical controllers, by drawing the profile. Bend sequences and tool positions are stored so a repeat order can be called up and run in minutes.

Benefits of a CNC press brake
- Repeatable angles across batches and shifts, which reduces rework at welding and assembly.
- Faster set-up for repeat jobs, because programmes and tool data are stored.
- Multi-bend parts in one handling: the back gauge moves automatically between bends.
- Less dependence on operator skill for routine production.
- Lower scrap on stainless steel and pre-finished sheet where mistakes are costly.
Choosing between mini CNC, 40 T, 80 T, 125 T and 250 T
- Mini CNC (25-40 T, 1600-2000 mm): small precise parts, electronics and instrument housings, workshops moving from manual to CNC.
- CNC 40T (1600 mm): entry production machine for thin sheet and short parts.
- CNC 80T (2500 mm): the most common size for sheet metal shops. Covers 2-3 mm mild steel over most lengths.
- CNC 125T (3200-4000 mm): long panels, lift and elevator components, 4-5 mm sheet.
- CNC 250T (3200-4000 mm): thick plate, trailer and structural parts, 6-10 mm work depending on length and die.
For a quick estimate, use the press brake tonnage calculator. If your parts are simple and batches small, a PLC/NC press brake may be enough. Compare both in CNC vs hydraulic press brake.
Industries using CNC press brakes
CNC machines are most valuable where the same part is bent many times, or where tolerances are tight: elevator and lift manufacturing, electrical enclosures, stainless steel kitchen equipment and automotive components.
Operation and maintenance
Operators should be trained on the controller, tool library and safe working practice before production starts. Keep the hydraulic oil clean, check the linear scales and back gauge for dirt, and back up programmes regularly. Our maintenance and safety guide lists daily and periodic checks.
Frequently asked questions
What is a CNC press brake machine?
A hydraulic press brake whose ram depth and back gauge are controlled by a CNC controller, so complete bend sequences can be programmed and repeated automatically.
What tonnage CNC press brakes does Devraj offer?
Mini CNC 25-40 T, and CNC models of 40 T, 80 T, 125 T and 250 T. A 400 T heavy-duty CNC model is also available.
Which CNC controller do you use?
The controller and number of axes are specified per order based on your parts and budget. They are confirmed in the quotation.
Is a CNC press brake worth it for a small shop?
If you bend the same parts repeatedly, or parts with many bends, CNC usually pays back through faster set-up and less rework. For mixed one-off work with simple bends, a hydraulic or PLC machine is often more economical.
How long does it take to train an operator?
An operator familiar with press brakes can usually learn basic programming on a CNC controller in a few days. Productive use of the full feature set takes longer and depends on the controller.
